Rubber Band

I heard this on the radio as I was getting ready for church and thought that it was worth sharing.

"Faith is like a rubber band. It's only useful when it's stretched."

Think about that! It's very true.

A Christian Ninjate's Characteristics

1. Ninjates are imperfect and broken, with spiritual peglegs and hooked hands.
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

2. Ninjates are easily identifiable by their spiritual flag and their distinctive language.
Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. (Matthew 12:33)

3. Ninjates are bold and fearless.
Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. (Acts 4:29)

4. Ninjates are bloodthirsty...for Christ's redeeming blood.
How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! (Hebrews 9:14)

5. Ninjates are obsessed with treasure.
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. (Matthew 6:20)

6. Ninjates are masters of disguise.
I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. (1 Corinthians 9:22-23)

7. Ninjates are quiet and avoid being seen.
He must become greater; I must become less (John 3:30)

8. Ninjates watch their targets closely.
Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. (Philippians 2:4)

9. Ninjates are experts in various spiritual weapons.
The LORD has opened his arsenal and brought out the weapons of his wrath, for the Sovereign, LORD Almighty has work to do in the land of the Babylonians. (Jeremiah 50:25)

10. Ninjates are highly trained spiritual warriors.
He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. (Psalm 18:34)
